Director James Fox appeared on The Joe Rogan Experience this week to discuss his latest UFO documentary, Moment of Contact. I interview Fox several months back to discuss the film and I realized I never linked to the interview on this site, so I opted to throw up a quick post.
Fox began filming UFO documentaries in the ’90s and his work has only improved over time. His films provide meticulously researched and always entertaining deep dives into famous (and not so famous) UFO cases such as the 1997 Phoenix lights incident, the 2004 Nimitz Tic Tac encounter, and the 1994 Ariel School mass sighting. His latest film, Moment of Contact argues that in January of 1996, a UFO crashed in Varginha, Brazil. If you find that statement hard to swallow, so did Fox. He initially dismissed the cases as ridiculous until a handful of credible folks convinced him to talk a closer look at the details surrounding the case. Regardless of how you feel about what went down in Varginha, after watching the doc you can’t argue that type of military scandal occurred.
I had a blast talking to Fox about Moment of Contact. He has a passion for ufology and his infectious spirit comes through on and off camera. If we both weren’t on tight deadlines I could have spoken to him all day. You can watch my interview with Fox below, read my review here, and rent and purchase Moment of Contact on major streaming networks right now.
