Last month I caught up with Yellowjackets star Sophie Thatcher to discuss her creepy new horror thriller The Boogeyman.
As a horror movie diehard, I couldn’t wait to check out cinema’s latest Stephen King adaptation. I had already decided to see The Boogeyman on opening day, so I was pleased to catch an advanced screening and then schedule a sit-down interview with the film’s star.
We could have nerded out over horror movies all day long, and I’m happy with the ground we covered in the interview. Check it out below, and let me know your thoughts on The Boogeyman in the comments. Where does The Boogeyman rank among the dozens of Stephen King adaptations? And while we’re on the topic, which of the horror legends books deserves a 2023 cinematic update? (My money is on The Dark Tower).
The Boogeyman Interview with Sophie Thatcher:
The Boogeyman synopsis:
Still reeling from the tragic death of their mother, a teenage girl and her younger sister find themselves plagued by a sadistic presence in their house and struggle to get their grieving father to pay attention before it’s too late.
